Who We Are

Our website address is: https://kidmedia.net

Kidmedia is an educational software development project founded in 2005 by special education teachers Pagratis Pavlidis and Christos Bitsis as co-founders with equal rights and responsibilities. Our mission is to create quality interactive learning games and educational tools specialising in children with learning difficulties, special needs, and disabilities.

Ownership & Management:

Co-founders: Pagratis Pavlidis & Christos Bitsis (equal rights, registered trademark holders)
Technical management kidmedia.net: Christos Bitsis
Technical management kidmedia.gr: Pagratis Pavlidis
Supporting association: "Kidmedia Team Supporters" (KTS) - will be established by the end of September 2025

Our Collaborative Network:

We maintain ongoing collaboration with Sesat Ltd (Cyprus) under a fiscal hosting arrangement, coordinated by Pantelis Makris. Sesat Ltd assists with administrative support, Erasmus+ programme coordination, and educational project development. This website operates independently while benefiting from this technical and administrative partnership.

Our Creative Team includes: Special education teacher Ioulia Dimou, early childhood educator and musician Valentini Pavlidou, musician-programmer Georgios Pavlidis, and programmer Konstantinos Bitsis.

We create applications that we first test in real classrooms, evaluate their effectiveness with actual students, and then publish them on our website. Our primary goal is to develop quality interactive learning games for children and teaching tools to support educators and parents. We focus on early learning stages and ensure all our applications are suitable for children with disabilities, featuring minimal verbal communication and adaptable difficulty levels.

Our Mission & Vision

Kidmedia.net provides completely free access to all educational content and interactive applications published on this website. Our vision is to become "the PhET of special education" - a global, free, research-based platform of interactive learning games and printable materials for children with special needs.

We are transitioning from a commercial subscription model to a non-profit approach supported by voluntary donations through the "Kidmedia Team Supporters" (KTS) association, established by the end of September 2025 to promote and enhance our educational work.

Funding & Support

This free platform is maintained through:

• Voluntary donations via KTS association
• European programme funding (Erasmus+)
• Revenue sharing from kidmedia.gr (Greek platform) - 20% supports kidmedia.net
• Educational collaboration partnerships

Donations are managed exclusively by the KTS association and used for website maintenance, content development, translation services, and ensuring continued free access to all materials.
