Lesson Plans - Ideas

• We select only 2 images, one of which has ten times the value of the other (euro).  5€ & 50€  -  2€ & 20 €  -  1€ & 10€

• We select only 2 images, one of which has ten times the value of the other (cents). 5C & 50C  -  2C & 20 C  -  1C & 10C

• We only play with bills (easy) or coins (medium).

We categorize coins based on their color: Copper-covered steel (1C - 2C -5C)  -  Nordic gold, Copper alloy (10C - 20C - 50C)  -  Copper nickel and Nickel brass, (1€ - 2€)

We always have time available to deal with the printouts as well. Generalizing knowledge and moving from the screen to the real world or vise versa is a very important process.

For children with special needs, we initially ask them to compose only one laminated image at a time, giving the template image at the same time so that they can be helped. Gradually, we increase the number of images to assemble and in the final stage we withdraw the template images.
